Reservation Policy & Re-Opening Guidelines (updated 3/01/21)

Our family’s Sonoma Winery and also downtown Sonoma Tasting Room are both open for business and our staff look forward to serving you.  Please be mindful that the Sonoma County reopening guidelines have caused us to pivot our offerings from what you typically expect at our tasting rooms.  Therefore, we appreciate your understanding and ask that you treat our staff and fellow guests with patience and kindness as we navigate these times together.

Reservations are NOT Required, but are recommended

Both of our locations are currently open for tasting by reservation only. Same-day and “Walk-In” reservations are welcome if availability allows.

Reservations are available daily from 11am to 5pm at our winery’s outdoor pavilion and patio (last reservation 3:30pm) and also available Monday-Thursday 12pm to 7pm at our downtown Sonoma Tasting Room (last reservation 5:30pm), Friday - Sunday “Walk-in”reservations only at our downtown tasting room location (wine club members and futures customers, please call for Fri-Sun advance reservations.  Please note:  Your seating time is limited to provide our staff time to properly sanitize between each seating per the Sonoma County Health Directive.  Your host will review these policies and guidelines with you at the time of check-in and prior to being seated. At the time of your reservations, please indicate if you have children in your party and how many (i.e. children must be part of the reservation count if 2 years of age or older).  For our wine club members and Futures customers, please indicate if you will be picking up wine previously purchased when making a reservation online.

Policies for your Visit

Table Service - We are currently offering table service only; please wait to be seated.  After checking in, guests will be seated outdoors at their tables. We will limit the number of guests at all times at our locations to ensure adherence to social distancing practices.

Mask Policy - For the safety of our visitors and staff, you are required to wear a mask anytime you are not seated at your table.  We require that face masks be worn by all guests from the time you enter our properties, standing in line to check in, when visiting restroom, and as you transition through our property. Visitors are asked to bring their own face masks please.

Group Visits - For groups wishing to visit our two locations, we are committed to ensuring plenty of space to allow for social distancing.  Parties are limited to up to 8 guests per group at our winery location and up to 6 guests per group at our downtown location. Sonoma County requires that all members in a party must be from a single household or living unit and that all guests in the party must have arrived and be present at the time they are escorted all together to their designated table. For all groups of 6 or more guests, a mandatory gratuity of 20% will be added to the balance due.  Additionally, the client’s credit card information must be provided in advance to our winery to hold this reservation, and a $20.00 per guest “no show” fee will apply if the group does not show for their reservation time and/or does not cancel 24 hours in advance of their arrival time.  This policy applies to “same day” reservations as well.

Food - We offer prepared plates, including charcuterie platters and other offerings, by our catering partners.  We are happy to announce that we have nut-free, gluten-free, and vegan offerings available for purchase.  Additionally, we have prepackaged cheeses, crackers, and additional light bites as well as non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase.  For the time being, we are not allowing outside food or drink to ensure cleanliness and not threaten the sanitation of our properties.

Kids – Children are always welcome at our properties.  However, we ask that your children must be supervised at all times, and remain with your party at the table.  We may offer special seating areas for families, so please indicate at the time of your reservation if you are visiting with children and how many children are in your party (i.e. children 2 years or older must be added to your reservation count).  Sorry, we do not allow outside toys, ball, bikes, scooters or similar items at our facility for the health and safety of all.

Dogs – Yes, dogs are welcome at Roche Winery at both the downtown location (on Sonoma Square) and the winery just outside of town.  Dogs must be on a leash at all times.  Please bring your own water dish for your dogs. Per USFDA guidelines, pets are strictly prohibited in wine production areas.
