Yes, it is true…we moved! Time has come to move from our outdated facility and begin our transition to a new, modern wine making facility and hospitality venue planned to be constructed on our 500-acre estate across the street from the current winery location in southern Sonoma. Opening our new tasting room in downtown Sonoma is our first step in this exciting transition for our family as we await the building of a new winery better suited for our brand, while still maintaining a presence in Sonoma at this highly visible downtown location.

The new Roche Winery tasting room in downtown Sonoma is located just off the famous Sonoma Plaza and is housed in a lovely 1940’s craftsman style building that offers both indoor and outdoor tasting. Customers will be able to taste the family’s award winning wine at the indoor or outdoor tasting bar, while seated and relaxing on the porch overlooking the square, or at comfortable outdoor tables on the shaded patio while taking in all of the action of downtown Sonoma.

The new tasting room is just steps away from the historical Sonoma Square home to Sonoma City Park, site of the picturesque city hall and numerous picnic areas with access to two playgrounds and duck pond. Complimenting the Roche tasting room experience on the plaza are numerous boutique shops, art galleries, and world-class restaurants.

This tasting room will continue our tradition of providing a friendly and unique environment to enjoy our premium wines which are only sold out of our tasting room…you cannot find our wines in stores! Our knowledgeable and friendly staff are always willing to answer your questions about wine, lead you through a barrel tasting of our new vintage, assist you with your reservation to go horseback riding on our family’s historic ranch and vineyards….or even offer you a recommendation or two regarding some great places to eat or stay here in Sonoma.

So, come on by to taste some of our new releases or simply to say “hi.” For more than twenty years, our family has enjoyed sharing our wines with our local customers here in Sonoma and across the country. We hope to see you soon at our new tasting room!
